Both single layer and double layer sandals have arch support. Double-layer sandals have an extra layer that raises the heel of the sandal 5/16th of an inch, which is better for those with high arches or who wear insoles. If you're in-between sizes, they suggest sizing down. To break in the sandals, customers have reported wedging a tennis ball or water bottle under the straps overnight to help them stretch, and wearing socks will also help protect your skin while the straps mold to your foot.
