The composite toes of these boots are made of non-metallic carbon-fiber, which offer a fit that is both left and right asymmetrical. These carbon-fiber toes are 15% lighter than steel. The boots meet or exceed the standards of ASTM F2412 and F2413 M I/75, C/75 EH.
To keep your feet dry and comfortable, these boots are equipped with KEEN.DRY, a waterproof and breathable membrane liner that allows vapor to escape while keeping water out. Additionally, the boots have a mesh liner that integrates with the waterproof membrane.
For support and comfort, these boots feature KEEN Luftcell, an air-infused midsole that provides weightless comfort. The boots also have aerated pillow-top cushioning to keep your feet comfortable while walking on the job site.
The boots are constructed with continuous Goodyear welt construction, which enhances their durability under extreme working conditions. The full-grain barnyard resistant leather used in the construction helps resist the damaging effects of oleic acid, urea, sodium chloride, and ammonium hydroxide.
The traction of these boots is improved with their oil- and slip-resistant, non-marking, siped rubber outsoles. These outsoles meet or exceed the F2913 SATRA standards.
